"I have no problem with giving Diskeeper references. Here are certain factors that have made us continue to use Diskeeper all these years:
1. Easy to install on a single PC and/or across the network using the Administrator.
2. Easy to configure (for automatic defrag) and/or to operate manually.
3. Have experienced less hard drive crashes and people complaining about how slow the PC is.
4. Each version of Diskeeper is better than the previous one. MFT defrag is now automatic in the current version.
We have 1000+ employees in the Highways Division, however, we have 810 PCs/Server Diskeeper Clients. The current count should suffice. The Department of Transportation consists of 3 divisions (Airports, Harbors and Highways) and the Admininstration arm."

"I like Diskeeper and feel it provides us with a better way to defrag computer hard drives versus the built-in defrag utility. I like the Diskeeper Administrator Edition software module which I have installed on my PC workstation for deploying the Diskeeper software and using the Remote Control for analyzing, defragging and setting a defrag schedule for a PC.
I currently have my PC setup to automatically defrag every weekday at noon. I some PC workstations setup with the “Set it and forget it” setting which will defrag all day whenever needed. And yes, I would recommend Diskeeper to others. Bottom line, Diskeeper keeps our systems performing at peak level without gradual degradation.
The PC systems are configured with Windows 2000 or XP and Microsoft Office 2003. We also use WRQ’s Reflection productions for 3270 Mainframe and Linux emulation. We do have RAID 5 setup on our HP ProLiant servers. We have Autodesk 2004 on a Windows Server 2003 server .
The type of work done at our site is office administration for a corrugated box plant. Our normal business hours are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Of course, we do have some people coming in earlier or staying later. Some of our users leave their PC’s on 7x24 which is not something I like or encourage. What I was looking for was the best or most efficient method for defragging a hard drive. "

"Diskeeper Administrator has helped immensely with deployment and version tracking of the Diskeeper software. I especially like its ability to query PC’s on our network and run detailed reports, then allowing the reports to be used as templates for deploying or managing machines; also the license tracking feature works well to let us know where we are in terms of used and available licenses.
We have Exchange 2003 servers running in “front-end/back-end” configuration, and we do run on a SAN as well.

"I would be happy to help with references for Diskeeper.
We use HP Data Protector 6.0 and Backup Exec. I have some MSA 60 storage, and local storage of up to 18TB on a single server with various RAID levels depending on the application. Virtual Server 2005 guests and hosts run Diskeeper. I run Diskeeper with Virtual Server 2005, Active Directory, SQL 2005 and Exchange 2003. Our Photo Division has some Diskeeper Pro on the graphics workstations. The other software it is from Kodak.
I would also be happy to be a reference for Undelete 2009.
We have used it a few times. We do full nightly back ups so it has saved the effort and time of having tapes sent in from storage. I can only speak for this site since the others may have used it more.
We have been satisfied. We have the Diskeeper and Undelete on a few key servers and workstations as indicated below. I definitely would recommend the products to others.

"I have demonstrated for users that purchased the software to add to their current PC the benefits of the program. It almost every case the immediate improvement of overall system read times is greater than 30%.
For drive failures I would say we had a least one or 2 a month. Now we are lucky to have 3 or 4 for the year. Based on servicing such failures I can say it is dramatically down.
I have seen dramatic improvements in many machines. Most specifically when Diskeeper recognized the MFT is full and allows me to expand it. So instead of a harddrvie that is always thrashing I have one that is much more optimized. The defragging is a benefit as well but the MFT recognition has really bailed me out at times.
We have Diskeeper on a few recent servers. All servers going forward have Diskeeper installed. To keep the machine optimized and provide optimal disk access is crucial on a server so it just makes sense to have your product on it.
This program should be on every machine as a default; that would be golden. But I am rolling it out more and more. So eventually it might happen. Our last 2 projects, every machine went out with it installed.
Getting more reliable/long term use out of our hard drives is a huge benefit from using your software as the drives seem to run much smooth with less thrashing after we have used the software and allow it to keep the drive optimized."

"Installing Diskeeper was one of the first things I did upon my arrival here at Petrocard. I think it’s an excellent product.
I would highly recommend Diskeeper to any Admin looking to improve server performance and reliability. At our location we deployed it on our most critical servers and the difference was quite drastic (that particular server is our mail server).
My biggest fear was that the server would take a performance hit once the software was defragging, but the hit never materialized. In fact the system was noticeably faster after a few days, and after two weeks, a few people asked me if we had moved the mail to a new server.
On the reliability side, that server had 3 drive failures in 6 months prior to Diskeeper being installed. So far it’s been running for 7 months and we haven’t had a single drive failure on any server that Diskeeper is also running on.
In our environment, Diskeeper is deployed on all of our major production systems (Email, DC, one HP NAS, one IBM SAN, two Citrix servers). All of our devices are in some sort of RAID configuration.
When we initially deployed Diskeeper on our NAS (which was just as fragmented as our mail server), it wasn’t defragging because of the intense load the system was under. I called tech support and they helped me modify a few registry keys and the software was working the way it should. And, as on our mail server, there was no noticeable performance impact while it was defragging.
Diskeeper is worth every penny and is one of the few programs out there that does exactly what it says. I could not be happier with the performance and reliability gains we have made since installing Diskeeper. Diskeeper is easy to recommend something that works so well.

We’ve measured several common functions on several systems before and after Diskeeper defragmentation – we found anywhere between 10-15% performance improvement. "I will have no problem giving reference for Diskeeper. I use Diskeeper Enterprise edition over a Dell Powervault 745N NAS. This NAS is a central storage for all user documents; here I host my Microsoft Exchange Databases. The NAS server also holds the attachments for my SAP Business One ERP system. We manage 2 TB of data in this server .
I choose Diskeeper because only using the built-in defrag utility was a time-consuming task and the performance of the server was compromised by fragmentation. Realtime defrag has been very useful on incrementing server performance and automatic defrag eliminated the need to use support people to do this task on a regular basis.
Server performance has improved in such grade that we stopped the purchase of a new server and our users are very happy with the improved server response time.

We actually write an Insurance Application for independent insurance agents.
Today we have 60+ servers and out of that 26 are virtual, we primarily use Diskeeper on out RAID 0 and 5 formatted servers and in most of the virtuals, plus we use it on all of our SQL Servers.
We recently purchased a Dell/EMC SAN Unit and are still testing the configurations, and from the Server 2008 Hyper-V roll-outs we are very pleased with its performance thus far.
